Our Business
At Alan Blair Auctions LLC our primary mission is to provide members of the
philatelic community an uncomplicated opportunity to sell and buy philatelic items
through public auction. (We're not a retail stamp shop where the public can directly
buy stamps and philatelic supplies.) We work diligently for our consignors
to sell their stamps at fair market values. Our business success is built on product knowledge, integrity and service.
We've been in business since 1984 and have conducted over 130 auction sales of stamps, supplies and related material. In 2006 we added numismatic auctions to our list of services to assist you in adding to your collection or liquidating collectible coins and currency. During a typical year we conduct 4 to 6 auctions, each with approximately 1000 lots. We are registered Virginia auctioneers and hold the coveted ASDA Auctioneer certification as well as current membership in the American Stamp Dealers Association and the Virginia Auctioneers Association. Whether selling or buying, we invite you to check us out. Ask for consignment information and materials.
